5 Things to Do to Put Your Body in Fat Burning Mode

Many people think that when they are going to the gym or they are going to jog early in the morning, they will lose weight. Well, this won't cut it because there are more factors that affect weight loss. Of course, you will burn calories while working out or jogging but you won't burn enough to lose some excess pounds. To get results, your body needs to be in the right state. I call this state the "Fat Burning Mode" because this is the time where your body will do everything it can to burn the maximum amount of fat possible. Sounds awesome right? So, how to "turn on" fat burning mode?
First of all, get plenty of rest. Although you may have heard this before, you may not have paid enough attention to it. You really need plenty pf rest, you need to have enough energy for you to not feel sleepy during the day. I suggest you sleep 9 hours a day and if you don't have enough time to sleep, you can get a power nap during the day, after work for instance. This way, you will feel your energy and won't be lazy to workout hard at the gym. Well, this is one of the reasons why you should get rest and there are a lot more reasons. Just try and see for yourself.
The next step is to make a list of your daily food intakes. Go ahead and write all the things you eat on paper. Now go find out the nutritional values of all of them, just use Google, you will get good information. Now you will need to dump some bad food types(if any). Bad food types are those with more than 5g of saturated fat and 1000 calories. And good ones are those with little fat and cal but with much protein. If needed, replace bad meals with good ones. I suggest you eat every 3 hours, which makes 5-6 meals a day.
Now that we have taken care of 2 bad things, let's take a look at your daily water intake. Maybe you didn't know but you have to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. I usually keep a bottle with be and drink every time I feel thirsty.
To lose weight efficiently, there are not only workouts and diets that help but there is also your mind. This may sound odd to you but I know many people who skip reps during their workout sessions or even skip training days due to lack of motivation. So, you'd better motivate yourself to lose weight. The best way to do this is by looking at someone who you admire and who has a wonderful body. Then tell yourself that you are going to be like that too if you work hard.
Finally, the last thing you need to do to turn on fat burning mode is consume good fats. Good fats will fool your body and the latter will burn fat at a faster rate. Good fat includes olive oil, fish oil, flaxseed oil. I usually take a capsule of flax-seed oil after 3 of my meals.
