Peppermint is also an antioxidant that helps in the fight against harmful organisms.

These herbs are grown on gardens and eaten as food or have their juices extracted. The herbs are also taken in such forms as supplements in meals or as tea. Attempts are also being made to incorporate the remedies in formal medicine through research.
