Bot traffic is ruining stats [sam1593]

Hi chhiba, We've been talking to some members who have websites where over 95% of their traffic is from bots. This only started happening towards the end of last year. Since then, we've been working hard to improve our bot detection. We have a beta system ready to be trialled. You can switch on the beta test option in Project Config > Ignore Visits for each project you'd like to test it on. Log in to Statcounter and click View Stats to open your project. In the left blue sidebar, at the bottom, expand the Project Config menu and select Ignore Visits. Scroll down to the Ignore Visits by Crawlers & Bots section and check the option for "Beta test…" to switch it on. Please reply to this email if you need assistance or have any suggestions.
